Gypsy Cob Sporthorse - 08/11/18

Will be Reg NZGCA, NZWA, & NZ Pinto Society

EMH 15.1 hh

Sire: The Loveable Rogue - Imp Gypsy Cob

Dam: Limelight SW - Hanoverian

We waited with such anticipation for the first foal from Poppy and Tom, a cross so deliberately and carefully planned to combine Poppy's phenomenal bloodlines (follow link above for more info), exquisite and elastic movement with Tom's correctness and settled trainability - both parents have fabulous temperaments.

Gordon has more than lived up to the high expectation so far - strong, correct, expressive - he is going to be an outstanding sporthorse.

Gordon has been carefully produced to date with good groundwork foundations laid for a baby - excellent manners, good to clip, farrier, float.  Was shown at the North Island All Breeds Foal Show without a hoof out of line for his first outing away.

We're confident he will make a superb competitive prospect in a smaller package, with an excellent brain - perfect for the Dressage Small Stars League initiated by Poppy's wonderfully forward thinking breeder Sterling Warmbloods, and believe he has a huge future in a convenient smaller package.

3/4 Gypsy Cob Filly - 11/12/18

Will be Reg NZGCA & NZ Pinto Society

EMH 15hh

Sire: The Loveable Rogue - Imp Gypsy Cob
Dam: Royal Dynasty - F1 Drum

Matilda has endeared herself to us all at home.

She is very sweet, trainable and loves to work with her person.

With an expected mature height of 15hh she will undoubtedly be a delightfully versatile riding horse like her parents (follow links above for more info on Tommy & Dynasty), she would also be super in harness.

She has the aesthetic attributes of a purebred gypsy cob, correct movement combined with presence, confidence and a completely adorable nature.

She is light and respectful to work with & is exceptionally well mannered.

She was a little star at her first outing recently to the North Island All Breeds Foal Show (May 2019) with consistent placings including winning Best Movement & Manners and taking Reserve Champion Hack Foal.

Matilda has gone to the best home we could hope for - she has a fun filled and competitive future to look forward to.
